How to calculate the weight of Teflon Tubing:

Here is the formula you need:

weight/ft = 3 x wall-thickness x (ID + wall-thickness)

Note: wall-thickness & ID units are in inches; weight is in lbs.

Example:

What is the weight of a 500-ft length of 3/16-in ID x 1/4-in OD?

3/16-in = 0.188-in
1/4-in = 0.250-in
wall thickness = 0.030

3 x 0.030 x (0.188 +0.030) = 0.0196 lbs/ft

0.0196-lbs/ft x 500-ft = 9.78-lbs

Remember to calculate the numbers in the parentheses first.
